From Man to Kingdom Man

Dan V.

Before I had a true encounter with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, I lived by words like Self-Centered, Conformed by Worldly Values, Lust of the Eyes and Flesh, Sexual Sin, Pride of Life, Lack of Spiritual Discipline, Feeding my Flesh, and the list goes on and on. I was leading and operating in a life of sin, a life that only led to destruction and eternal death, and also a trail of casualties!

When I was on my “road to Damascus” is when I had my true encounter with God. He blinded my sight from a worldly view and gave me a spiritual view of what I was doing, the life I was leading in, the negative impact that I was making, and then He opened His arms and called me to Him and showed me a love that I have never experienced a day in my life! I couldn’t understand how God could love me when I’ve done so much wrong in this world and even turned my back on him? 😭❤️🙌🏾 “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8 NKJV.

GLORY TO GOD!!!

That moment is when I truly had my conversion from a Man into a Kingdom Man! Then I started understanding why Jesus died for me. That’s when I started denying my flesh and I started living according to His will and His way for my life, and adopted a new life language. These are the words that I live by now, that guide my life everyday. Purity, Worth the Wait, Commitment, Self-Control, Discipline, Surrender, Honor, and so many more life-giving and Kingdom fruitful words! Fam in no way shape or form am I saying that I’m perfect, but Glory to God, “I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Jesus Christ”, so I’m learning more and more each day how to live on purpose, in purpose and be intentional for His Kingdom! “Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:12-14 NKJV.

Be Blessed Fam! 🙏🏾
